Before & After School Programme at Playdays Nursery Schools

Drop off your child at Playdays anytime from 8.00am

At Playdays our aim is to help each child to reach the highest degree of independence and confidence, as well as to discover their own strengths academically and creatively, and to pave the way for them to go on and be happy and inquisitive at school.

Before & After School

Child Playing Playdays Nursery also incorporates a ‘Before / After School Programme’ and ‘Holiday Club’ for when your child moves on to school. This allows you as the parent to drop off your child at Playdays anytime from 8:00a.m. in order for us to accompany them to the local schools (as per an approved list), and to collect them again from school in the afternoon and return back to Playdays until collection no later than 6:00p.m. During the afternoon sessions, specialised recruited staff will plan and provide activities and play opportunities enhancing the National Curriculum Standards and generally interact with the children to support them with any school work they may have.

Child’s Progress

At Playdays our objective is about supporting your child out of their school environment in a way that is both fun and enjoyable, whilst enhancing skills in various age appropriate pre-planned topics and activities. The aim is to encourage independence and good behaviour. A positive relationship between the parents is a key aspect of the service we aim to provide, ensuring all parents are kept informed of their child’s progress.

Fully Insured

We have planned the school run to ensure that the children arrive safely and on time. Transportation is via a minibus for children attending the more distant schools, driven by our staff known to the children and fully insured. The children attending schools within walking distance of the nursery will be accompanied by a member of staff. Should you wish to check if a particular school is included within our remit, please speak directly to the relevant branch Nursery Manager who will be able to advise.
